You'll get a bottle of our Orbetana and Raggia blend oil—'Il Territorio'—and a bottle of our premium Piantone and Coroncina blend oil—'Monticole'—made directly from the trees on our farm in Le Marche, Italy.
‘Monticole’
Our premium single estate EVOO, handpicked from our trees in Le Marche and pressed at our local mill using the newest milling technology.
Olive cultivars Coroncina and Piantone di Mogliano alongside Orbetana, Raggiola, Ascolana, and Mignolone produce an intense, spicy oil.
Originating in the hilltop village of Serrapetrona, Coronica combines a spicy, bitter flavour with notes of artichoke. It contributes an exceptionally high average polyphenol count of 577 mg/kg.
Piantone di Mogliano is particularly high in oleic acid (average 76.1%) and lends a balance of herby and nutty notes.
Originating in the hilltop village of Serrapetrona, Coroncina combines a bitter, spicy oil with notes of artichoke and exceptionally high levels of polyphenols and chlorophyll.
'Il Territorio'
Selected from the finest small farms neighbouring Borgo Monticole, and pressed at our local mill.
Filtered for maximum freshness and longevity. Orbetana and Raggia cultivars produce a delicate, well balanced oil.
Grown only in the valleys surrounding San Severino, Orbetana is known as ‘the landlord’s olive‘ for the exceptional fluidity of its oil, with notes of fresh herbs and tomato, alongside high levels of chlorophyll.
Raggia contributes an oleic/linoleic ratio of 75% to 7.3% and brings notes of almond to produce a slightly sweeter tasting oil.
